This place is really hard to find it's a very small section creviced between two other restaurants. I've always seen videos about Uyghur food and wanted try and behold I found out about this place as I drove past my local Smart and Final. I know they use alot of lamb and cumin which I really love, so this place hits for me. The pan fried lamb dumplings were okay. The meat was juicy which was food but I did feel that there was a little lack of salt. If it had a little more salt it would have been good. It was better with the vinegar and chili oil. Then I had the lamb chow mein. The overall dish was pretty good. I really like the thick flat noodles and it had the el dente texture which was good. The chili sauce was the right amount of spice. I do want to try their other dishes because I have seen some of their other dishes and it looked really good. I may update this review.

After hearing so much about this place from multiple colleagues (including one from Xinjiang), we finally came here for lunch on Sunday. We ordered three dishes. The black wood ear mushrooms were mildly spicy due to the pickled peppers. Both this and the garlic cucumber had sweet and sour flavoring from the vinegar that makes them taste extra refreshing. My favorite was the big plate chicken with sweet potato noodles. The flavoring was spot-on. I particularly loved the sweet potato noodles and hand-made noodles. The portion was very big: the three of us all adults couldn't finish this one plate. My colleague from Xinjiang is a regular here, and I see myself doing the same too.

The food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. It's a cozy, unassuming spot. I recommend being mindful of the spice levels--medium or mild works perfectly for me, though my spice tolerance is likely above average.

Lamb Ribs Noodle Soup. Out comes a huge bowl of soup with hand-cut noodles. The soup itself appears simple but delicious. But when you taste the abundant cuts of lamb rib, you'll find the lamb incredibly tender and flavorful. I couldn't stop eating it. Great service and not noisy considering the place was nearly full. Ample parking.

Looking for authentic Xinjiang cuisine? This is *the* spot. This Uyghur food is absolutely amazing - from the delicious lamb to the hand made noodles - Tarim Garden delivers! Be prepared for explosion of spices like cumin, chili, garlic, saffron and so much more. The portions are generous and the prices offer great value. The vibe is casual and inviting and the staff is extremely friendly. Some of the best service I've gotten in a long time! They are young, happy, and cheerful. They've accommodated us every time and I have no other feedback other than keep doing what you're doing. Overall, you'll be hard pressed to find many authentic Uyghur places and Tarim brings the best flavors, service, and casual accommodations for a delightful dining experience.

Amazing place, delicious food, amazing service, 5 star!!! They have a kids chair. I recommend this business for everyone!!! Thank you so much!!

First time having Uyghur food and it was delicious! The dishes we tried had consistent flavors of lamb, cumin, and spice. Pan fried dumplings was the favorite! Would order again and then order different dishes to have more variety in flavors. The service was nice and quick. We ordered through their QR code, but the food was brought out quickly. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but they had many tables inside and out. This place gets really packed during dinner time too! I suggest coming a little earlier if you want to avoid any wait in general.

Be prepared for the following: *Spice levels beyond what you can tolerate. Make sure to order mild. *food is extremely oily. The dishes were half filled with oil infact. So treat it as an occasional indulgence. *some exceptionally delicious food if your stomach is open to tolerating the heat levels. We got- * spicy chicken with lotus buns:5/5: my husband ordered the extra spicy version not sure why! Anyway, the chicken was lip smacking delicious, the gravy came with several aromatics like a ton of green chilli, garlic, green onions etc. I don't recall eating such delicious chicken in recent memory. The lotus buns were a dud though, they were just chewy and tough. I did spend a couple of days with an irritated tummy so please make sure to order the mild version. Also, the dish is half filled with oil, check the pictures I attached. *spicy chicken noodles: 3/5: bowl looked large but it barely had much chicken and noodles as this was half filled with oil as well. It was weird eating noodles soaked in so much oil. Salt content was less as well without extra salt at the tableside the dish was not very enjoyable.

Tarim Garden is very much that local hole in the wall, but if you're a fan of spicy stuff don't pass up on on this Uygher/Xinjiang place. They hold no bars on the seasoning and it's all fantabulous! Service is good with pleasant staff members doing their best, but ordering is entirely QR-code based. As a smaller establishment...things also do get pretty busy during peak hours and kitchen output tends to fall behind at times like that, so plan your visit accordingly. ==Cucumber appetizer - 5/5 with garlic is nice and fresh, touch of sour note from vinegar. Sliced in thin pieces than cubes I'm used to at most other Chinese spots. ==Spicy beef noodles - 5/5 As they amusingly note, this is legit seasoning and their spicy warning is for real. Hot damn, is it delightful but even mild packs a serious punch. Seriously dense in heat and spices. Noodles are much like thick glass noodles, with all the hefty chew to them albeit being more brittle. Beef is pretty tough but more like in a jerky like fashion with all the spices. As a drier noodle it is a delight for the summer heat. ==Cumin lamb - 5/5 So. Much. Cumin. It's great since the tendency in most places is to hold back, but none of that here. Just right balance of dry crisping up in meat and moisture in the meat for more springy chew. ==Pan fried lamb dumplings - 4.5/5 Very doughy, kind of like bread dumplings, making for a very soft yet chewy texture. Not too crispy with the pan fry, but enough to get a slight texure contrast (could do with a sharper sear though). It's a very cozy iteration of dumplings with a pretty strong flavor once you bite into the inside; cause it is lamb after all. Funnily enough dipping them in the spicy beef noodle oil made for a nice combo, but that's just me...

Our recent visit to this restaurant, specializing in cuisine from the Xinjiang province, was an absolute treat. The lovely lady running the front of the house was incredibly accommodating, taking special care to recommend dishes that my picky kids would enjoy. We opted for beef rice, spicy beef rice noodles, and beef laghman, and every dish was a hit! Each was bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented, showcasing the unique culinary traditions of Xinjiang. The warm and attentive service made our experience even more enjoyable. For anyone looking to explore delicious and genuine Xinjiang cuisine, this place is a must-try!
